I was born and raised in Jamaica until the age of 10. It was in 1972 that my family consisting of 4 brothers and 6 sisters moved to Canada. It was only a couple years after this that I realized my desire for lifting weights ... which started at the age of 12. I first started working out at home until I reached high school at which time I was able to train in the high school gym. At this time I showed such a passion and interest for weight training that I even had other students approaching me to train them. Throughout high school I was very active and participated in many other sports as well. For a few years I focused on playing football competitively for the following teams Oshawa Hawkeyes, Brampton Bears, and the Northwestern Ghosts. During this time I had joined my very first gym which was Scarborough College/U of T ... I spent a few years training at that gym focusing on training with free weights only ... no machines.

After Scarborough College gym I joined Gold’s Gym in Scarborough (which by the way was the best gym ever!!) This is where I discovered BODYBUILDING! And the rest is history! My first show was a Level 1 show in 1995 and I continued to compete at the amateur level right through until 2002 at which time I earned my IFBB Pro Card.

I am currently working as a personal trainer at Body Boomers Fitness Club in Whitby, ON. Over the years I have not only trained myself to the professional level but have also trained many other bodybuilders who have competed at provincial and national levels. I have also trained athletes for other various sports such as basketball, football, baseball and hockey at all levels. As you can tell by now I am dedicated to gym and my love for weight training.
